Dams are located by John Falk to the nearest second of latitude and longitude on USGS 1:24,000-scale quad maps. This information is stored in a format compatible with the National Dams Inventory database structure. Bob Harmon geo-coded the dam locations from a copy of Johns database in ArcView 3.0a and translated the locations into a shapefile. The shapefile was converted into an ARC/INFO coverage and projected into the Oregon State Lambert Projection in ARC.
