Layer: Potential Incident Command Posts (ID: 4)

Name: Potential Incident Command Posts

Display Field: Name

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPoint

Description: Locations along the Oregon coast that could potentially serve as incident command posts (ICPs) in the event of an oil spill. Features include some but not all US Coast Guard facilities, city halls, sheriffs' offices, community centers, libraries, state park meeting halls, hotel meeting spaces, and other meeting spaces within Oregon's coastal zone. This dataset was developed as part of the 2019 update to Oregon's coastal geographic oil spill response plans. Data for many features and attributes is incomplete and will be developed further as time allows. Inclusion of a facility in this dataset does not mean that the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality or the Northwest Area Committee have already arranged to use it as a command post. All such arrangements would have to be made at the time of the response. Facilities have not been notified that they are included in this dataset.
